PLACES I VISITED

the music festival!
During my exchange, I had the opportunity to visit some beautiful places. The first one we went to was a music festival called “Les Accroches-Coeurs”, in the city center, which also had amazing visuals, as can be seen in the photo. The atmosphere was perfect, and the streets were great to walk around.

I really loved the music and the lively environment. People were dancing, singing, and enjoying themselves, which made it feel very joyful and energetic. It was a wonderful experience to see the city full of life and celebration.

Terra Botanica!
We also visited Terra Botanica, a large botanical park focused on plants, flowers, and
nature. The park has different themed gardens, greenhouses, and walking paths, which allowed us to explore lots of plants from all over the world. I loved being surrounded by nature, and my favorite part was the butterfly garden, where we could see so many colorful butterflies flying around freely. There were also interactive areas and small texts with information about the life cycle of plants and the importance of nature. Walking through the park was relaxing, and I loved discovering new plants and learning how they grow. It is a perfect place to spend time with family or friends, and it quickly became one of my favorite spots because it is peaceful, fun, and educational at the same time.

Village Troglodyte
Another place I really loved was the Village Troglodyte. It was very interesting to see how people lived in the past, and even today we can see objects and buildings from different times. The village has small houses with some characterictics from earlier centuries, which makes it really interesting. There were also some interactive areas where we could try things and learn more about history, which made it much more fun and engaging. I really enjoyed walking around and discovering all the corners of the village. Small information boards explained many stories about the people who lived there, which helped me imagine life long ago. It was a great way to learn about the past while having a good time, and it felt like traveling back in time.

Visiting these places during my exchange helped me learn more about French culture and history. Each place was different and special, from the music festival to the botanical park and the troglodyte village. I really enjoyed exploring, seeing new things, and spending time in beautiful places. These experiences made my stay in Angers unforgettable and showed me how fun it is to discover new places.
